The Role: Member Services Agent (Call Center)

  • Minimum of 1-year CALL CENTER (not the same as customer service) experience within the last 3 years.
  • Willing to work any shift from Monday - Sunday from 9am-9pm EST.
  • Reside in one of the following states: Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New Hampshire or Missouri.
  • This is a remote position, do you have your own private workspace with a door to keep out all distractions and internet that can be hardwired into your home?

Starting pay for Tier 1 Contact Center Agent: $17.00hr

What You’ll Do

Here at the Rue Gilt Groupe our Contact Center Associates are providing amazing member experiences in a fast-paced, employee focused environment. Our Associates are experts at building relationships and looking for creative ways to support our Members as they help place orders, answer questions, manage returns and find resolution for any issues. Our center is open 7 days a week 9:00 am to 9:00 pm EST to help our Members.

What to Expect

Your primary focus in this role will be interacting with current or prospective Members with professionalism and positivity. Primarily you will be trained to resolve voice and email interactions interchangeably, focused on topics including general member inquiries, returns, tracking orders, and modifying orders. As an important part of the most fun online shopping experience, you will provide accurate and complete information to our members. Once you master the first level of skills you will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge, handling more complex situations and working in alternate channels such as messaging or social media.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications and ability to maneuver multiple screens at a time.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Contact (CALL) center environment
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
